This June is the 20th national "Work Safety Month", China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), considering the actual situation and focusing on learning and implementing the important remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety, has launched 2021 "Work Safety Month" and "Work Safety Promotion" activities with the theme of "implementing safety responsibility, promoting safe development".
Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, CASIC carried out in-depth publicity and implementation of the spirits of the 19th CPC National Congress and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Plenary Sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee, in-depth study and publicity of important remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety, implemented major decisions and deployments on work safety by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and solidly promoted the national three-year special rectification campaign on work safety, deepened the safety risk identification and governance, to build safe environment for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party.
The activities are aimed to enhance the safety awareness of all staff, improve the workers' working competence in safety, and promote the concept of safe development through influential thematic propaganda, education and training, risk identification, exposure of hidden dangers, problem rectification, experience promotion, case study, supervision and reporting, knowledge popularization, emergency drills and other publicity and education activities. Combined with the ongoing party history learning and education, the activities encompasses in-depth study of important remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety, to strengthen the "people first, life first" concept; combined with the “Doing Things for the Masses” Initiative, grassroots and front line employees are given the care; combined with the national three-year special rectification campaign on work safety, key difficulties are focused for resolution.
During the "Work Safety Month" activities, all units and departments (institutions) of CASIC will organize nationwide activities, such as further the implementation of the study of the spirit of important remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety, carrying out a good "special rectification" themed publicity activities," "work safety promotion" activities, "6·16 safety publicity and consultation day", enhance hidden danger warning and exposure, strengthen the media cooperation, and enhance targeted safety publicity in "enterprise, rural area, community, school, and family"; Also, other key activities such as the propaganda of important remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety, work safety accident warning and education, safety micro-video soliciting and exhibition, technical safety paper soliciting and selection, the release of new version of the "Work Safety Culture Manual" will be carried out.
During the "Work Safety Promotion" campaign, CASIC will organize all units and departments (organizations) of the system to actively participate in national activities, such as "themed activity", "regional activity", "online activity" and other publicity and exposure activities; initiate innovative key activities, such as the special activities of safety risk identification and governance, "identify risks, eliminate hidden dangers, anti-three violations, and ensure safety" themed 100-day remediation campaign, etc.
On May 31, CASIC held a system-wide video conference to mobilize and deploy the activities of 2021 "Work Safety Month", requiring all units and departments (organizations) of CASIC to strengthen organizational leadership and build favorable atmosphere to ensure fruitful activities, and summarize experiences.
